Fenestration Testing
BEaR Engineers was contracted to perform testing of installed storefront windows by the installation contractor to meet project requirements.
The following testing was performed:
ASTM E1105 - Standard Test Method for Field Determination of Water Penetration of Installed Exterior Windows, Skylights, Doors and Curtain Walls, bu Uniform or Cyclic Static Air Pressure Difference.
ASTM E783 - Standard Test Method for Field Measurement of Air Leakage through installed Exterior Windows and Doors.
AAMA 501.2 - Quality Assurance of Diagnostic Water Leakage Field Check of Installed Storefronts, Curtain Walls, and Sloped Glazing Systems.
AAMA 501.2 interior pressure chamber installed.
Digital Manometer holding the specified test pressure for 15 minutes.
Exterior installed calibrated spray rig during ASTM E1105 testing.
